However, after a preliminary review, the commission requested clarification because the list does not comply with the gender quota. According to the election regulations, at least 40% of the candidates must be representatives of the least represented gender. In the case of \u201cEuropean Choice,\u201d these are men.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cThe election commission has sent a letter to the head of the \u2018European Choice\u2019 campaign staff asking to clarify the composition of the list by March 16, but we believe this is a minor oversight,\u201d<\/i> said <b>Alena Prykhodzka<\/b>, chair of the election commission.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEuropean Choice\u201d is part of the faction of the same name that already exists in the Coordination Council.
