{"id":524284,"date":"2026-03-10T11:34:58","date_gmt":"2026-03-10T08:34:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=524284"},"modified":"2026-03-10T11:44:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T08:44:11","slug":"csto-prepares-military-exercise-in-belarus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/csto-prepares-military-exercise-in-belarus","title":{"rendered":"CSTO Prepares Military Exercise In Belarus"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>A working meeting was held within the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to prepare the \u201cBarrier-2026\u201d exercise, which is scheduled to take place in Belarus in October this year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the organization\u2019s secretariat, representatives of the Belarusian and Russian defense ministries, as well as the CSTO Joint Staff, took part in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cIssues related to the preparation of the \u2018Barrier-2026\u2019 exercise (October, Belarus), the implementation of Russia\u2019s priorities in the development of military medicine and protection against biological threats, as well as the organization of research work during the exercise with the involvement of CSTO radiation, chemical and biological protection and medical support units were discussed,\u201d<\/i> the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>It was noted that the CSTO radiation, chemical and biological protection and medical support unit was created in 2022.
