Under the document, the main functions are assigned to Belenergo.<\/p>\n<p>According to the government press service, the association will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>act as the organization providing electricity transmission services across the territory of Belarus (network operator),<\/li>\n<li>act as the organization providing operational and dispatch control services for the country\u2019s power system (system operator),<\/li>\n<li>participate in the unified electricity market of the Union State by carrying out the purchase and sale of electric energy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is noted that Belenergo will participate in the electricity market both before the creation of an internal wholesale electricity market in Belarus and after such a wholesale market is established.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Council of Ministers has adopted a resolution on the implementation of the Agreement between Belarus and Russia on the formation of a unified electricity market of the Union State.
