Lukashevich expressed sympathy over the numerous civilian casualties and conveyed condolences from <b>Aliaksandr Lukashenka<\/b> in connection with the death of Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader <b>Ali Khamenei<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cSerious concern was confirmed regarding the events affecting countries of the Middle East region. The Belarusian side proceeds from the lack of any alternative to resolving conflicts of any kind exclusively through political and diplomatic means,\u201d<\/i> the Belarusian Foreign Ministry\u2019s press service reported.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenka had earlier sent condolences to Iranian President <b>Masoud Pezeshkian<\/b> over Khamenei\u2019s death.
