It noted that, overall, \u043a\u043e\u043c\u043c\u0443\u043d\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0435 services responded promptly to weather conditions. However, as usual, certain shortcomings were identified.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cDuring snowfalls, when clearing roadways, crossings and sidewalks in Mazyr, snow banks more than a metre wide were formed, which in some places completely blocked pedestrian crossings and parking areas,\u201d<\/i> the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>In Chechersk, prosecutors\u2019 complaints concerned the failure to clear access roads to a snow storage site.<\/p>\n<p>In Homiel, roofs and facades were not cleared of snow, ice and icicles in a timely manner.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cIn the Rechytsa and Petrikaw districts, spontaneous sledding hills were discovered, from which descents posed a real threat of sliding onto the roadway and towards water bodies,\u201d<\/i> the Prosecutor\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions, orders and information notes were issued in response to all the identified violations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Prosecutor\u2019s Office of the Homiel Region reported on its monitoring of municipal services during periods of snowfall and frost.
