{"id":521132,"date":"2026-02-26T17:33:46","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T14:33:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=521132"},"modified":"2026-02-26T19:30:29","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T16:30:29","slug":"union-state-council-signs-decree-on-rail-links-between-orsha-vitsyebsk-and-smolensk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/union-state-council-signs-decree-on-rail-links-between-orsha-vitsyebsk-and-smolensk","title":{"rendered":"Union State Council Signs Decree on Rail Links Between Orsha, Vitsyebsk and Smolensk"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The Supreme State Council of the Union State has decided to organise suburban railway services between border regions of Belarus and Russia, BelTA reports.<\/p>\n<p>Following the meeting, a decree was signed on the organisation and development of cross-border suburban passenger rail services between adjacent territories of Belarusian regions and constituent entities of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p>The document provides for the launch of train services in 2026\u20132028, starting from April 2026, on the Smolensk\u2013Orsha and Smolensk\u2013Vitsyebsk routes.<\/p>\n<p>On the Smolensk\u2013Orsha line, up to three pairs of trains per day are planned, depending on the season.
