Fifty-one countries abstained, and 12 voted against.<\/p>\n<p>Belarus was among the countries that voted against the resolution. Those opposing it also included Russia, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Cuba, the Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea, Eritrea, Iran, Nicaragua, Niger, Mali, and Sudan.
