According to the draft agreement received by the Belarusian Museum named after I. Luckievic from the city municipality, the annual rent will increase from 121 euros to 1,669 euros.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cOver five years of lease, the building has turned into a real centre of the Belarusian community and culture in Lithuania,\u201d<\/i> Ludvika Kardzis said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the museum, the only public Belarusian library in Lithuania operates there, along with a weekly Belarusian children\u2019s school and language courses. Cultural events and meetings are held regularly.
