The plot-driven stories are populated by recognisable characters from the Polesia hinterland. The tragedy and festive joy of their lives appear illuminated from within by the semi-fairytale light of folkloric history.<\/p>\n<p>The winner was announced on the first day of the International Poetry Festival \u201cPoems On The Asphalt\u201d held in memory of Mikhas Straltsou.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will continue on February 14 and 15.
