Local media reported this with reference to the regional office of the FSB.<\/p>\n<p>The man has become a suspect in a criminal case under Part 1.1 of Article 226.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (smuggling of weapons).<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cIt is alleged that he sent an armor plate to Belarus that can be used in the manufacture of weapons and military equipment. This item is classified as dual-use goods and is subject to export control,\u201d<\/i> the FSB press service said.<\/p>\n<p>It was also reported that the suspect sold body armor and helmets, including to Russian participants in the war against Ukraine.
