This was reported by the Viasna Human Rights Center, citing a report by the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, last year the following convictions were recorded:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>16 minors \u2014 for \u201cactive participation in actions that grossly violate public order\u201d (Article 342 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>6 minors \u2014 for \u201cfacilitating extremist activity\u201d (Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>5 minors \u2014 for \u201cinciting hatred\u201d (Article 130 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>4 minors \u2014 for an \u201cact of terrorism\u201d (Article 289 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>4 minors \u2014 for \u201cinsulting Lukashenka\u201d (Article 368 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>3 minors \u2014 for \u201cdesecration of state symbols\u201d (Article 370 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>1 minor \u2014 for \u201cviolence or threat of violence against an official\u201d (Article 366 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>1 minor \u2014 for \u201cparticipation on the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation or armed conflict, military actions, or recruitment or training for such participation\u201d (Article 361-3 of the Criminal Code).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2025, courts handed down sentences to several dozen minors under Criminal Code articles that are often used for politically motivated prosecutions.
