Belarusian customs officers discovered the cash and opened criminal cases under Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code, the Brest Region Prosecutor\u2019s Office reported.<\/p>\n<p>On January 28, the foreign nationals entered Belarus in a passenger car. When filling out the declaration, they indicated the temporary import of the vehicle and the transport of a dog but did not declare any cash. Customs officers found the money in personal luggage and inside the vehicle. The foreigners explained that they were unaware of the declaration rules.<\/p>\n<p>The cash was seized.
