Belarus is ready to continue intensifying bilateral dialogue with Brazil in all areas of mutual interest, Belarus\u2019s ambassador to Brazil Andrey Andreyev<\/b> said at a meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva<\/b> in the city of Salvador.<\/p>\n

According to the Belarusian Embassy in Brazil, an event of the Workers\u2019 Party took place there on February 7, 2026, during which Lula da Silva announced the launch of the \u201cNew Spring\u201d initiative aimed at mobilizing supporters of the Brazilian leader.<\/p>\n

The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission conveyed to the Brazilian president words of support from Alyaksandr Lukashenka<\/b> in connection with the upcoming elections in Brazil. He said that Belarus and Brazil share \u201can internal ideology of building a strong and socially oriented state, as well as an aspiration for a sustainable and fair world order.\u201d<\/i> He emphasized that Belarus views Brazil as a reliable partner and is ready to \u201ccontinue intensifying bilateral dialogue in all areas of mutual interest.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

During the event, Andreyev also met with Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin<\/b>. The sides discussed \u201cpriority issues in the development of economic cooperation.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

Following a meeting with Bahia Governor Jer\u00f4nimo Rodrigues<\/b>, previously reached agreements were reaffirmed on \u201cstudying concrete areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
