{"id":515116,"date":"2026-02-05T14:33:34","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T11:33:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=515116"},"modified":"2026-02-05T15:04:29","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T12:04:29","slug":"belarus-foreign-ministry-expresses-concern-over-situation-around-cuba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/belarus-foreign-ministry-expresses-concern-over-situation-around-cuba","title":{"rendered":"Belarus Foreign Ministry Expresses Concern Over Situation Around Cuba"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Belarus is concerned about the situation around Cuba and the supply of energy resources to the country, the Foreign Ministry said, warning of the risk of a humanitarian crisis.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is following with concern the situation around Cuba and the supply of energy resources to this country.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><em>Particular concern is caused by the threat that the current escalation in the Caribbean could develop into a serious humanitarian crisis with unpredictable consequences.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Minsk consistently insists on the inadmissibility of unilateral coercive measures that create obstacles to trade relations between states, restrain the process of comprehensive socio-economic development, and hinder efforts to ensure the well-being of the population.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We firmly believe that all disagreements should be resolved through peaceful dialogue and within the framework of international law,\u201d<\/em> the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>It should be recalled that U.S. President <b>Donald Trump<\/b> declared a state of emergency due to what he described as a threat posed by Cuba.
