Police officers escorted him to a separate room for questioning, Bild reported.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, at the request of the prosecutor\u2019s office, the state parliament voted to lift Dornau\u2019s parliamentary immunity.<\/p>\n<p>Searches are being conducted on the basis of an order issued by the Leipzig district court as part of a prosecutor\u2019s investigation into suspected sanctions evasion. The case concerns the delivery of <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/lukovogo-plantatora-dornau-podozrevajut-v-obhode-sankcij-es\">a loader to elarus using a \u201cfalse transit\u201d<\/a> scheme in 2022.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cThe suspect is accused of having stated Kazakhstan as the destination country of a telescopic loader in a customs declaration in August 2022, which did not correspond to reality, in order to conceal the ban on exports to Belarus \u2014 the actual country of destination of the vehicle \u2014 by using transit states. Subsequently, the vehicle was indeed exported to Belarus,\u201d<\/i> the prosecutor\u2019s office said in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medienservice.sachsen.de\/medien\/news\/1094719\">a press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor\u2019s office \u0443\u0442\u043e\u0447\u043d\u0438\u043b\u0438 that searches are not being carried out in the premises of the state parliament or parliamentary factions.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, the Saxon deputy from the populist Alternative for Germany party became widely known after it emerged that he was using the labor of political prisoners on his onion farm Tsybulka-Bel in Belarus.
