As part of this work, five more border outpost complexes are planned to be built on the border with Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>On the Ukrainian direction, two new border outposts were formed in 2025 in areas covered by the Mazyr Border Detachment and the Brest Border Group. Staffing levels were also increased in a number of other border units on the southern direction.<\/p>\n<p>The agency intends to continue implementing the programs \u201cBorder Security for 2026\u20132030\u201d and \u201cDevelopment of Border Security of the Union State\u201d for the 2023\u20132027 period.<\/p>\n<p>Special attention is planned to be given to improving combat training of personnel, the mobilization reserve and field skills, as well as ensuring readiness to suppress armed and other provocations at the border.<\/p>\n<p>Work will also continue to improve living and social conditions for border guards and their families, including housing provision.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee <b>Andrei Filatau<\/b>\u00a0said that in 2025, <i>\u201cin order to ensure territorial integrity,\u201d<\/i> Belarus carried out riverbank reinforcement works on the Western Bug River near the Brest border outpost as part of tasks defined by the \u201cDevelopment of Border Security of the Union State\u201d program.
