They apply to Belarus and allow restrictive measures to be imposed on those who plan, direct, support, or facilitate foreign information manipulation and interference. The new criteria also cover actions aimed at interfering with, damaging, or destroying critical infrastructure, as well as large-scale or systematic actions leading to the disruption of such infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press service of the EU Council, the decision was joined by Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, and Ukraine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eight countries have joined the European Union\u2019s latest sanctions decisions against Belarus.
