This was discussed at a meeting between the Belarusian Ambassador to Uzbekistan <b>Aliaksandr Aharodnikau<\/b> and the Ambassador of Afghanistan to Uzbekistan <strong>Abdul Ghafar Bahr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The sides discussed friendly relations between the countries and the expansion of political, economic and diplomatic cooperation, the Afghan Embassy reported.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cDuring the meeting, the Belarusian side proposed appointing a non-resident representative for Afghanistan, creating a joint industrial working group, establishing cooperation on a dry milk production project in Termez, developing interaction in the healthcare sector, simplifying the visa regime for Afghan entrepreneurs, expanding consular cooperation, as well as participating in regional projects Trans-Afghan (Trans-Afghan railway), TAPI (Turkmenistan\u2013Afghanistan\u2013Pakistan\u2013India gas pipeline) and CASA-1000 (power transmission line),\u201d<\/i> the embassy stated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarus plans to develop relations with Afghanistan, simplify the visa regime for Afghan businessmen, and send its representative to the country.
