{"id":508769,"date":"2026-01-10T10:10:26","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T07:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=508769"},"modified":"2026-01-10T16:04:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T13:04:21","slug":"second-unit-of-belnpp-connected-to-the-grid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/second-unit-of-belnpp-connected-to-the-grid","title":{"rendered":"Second Unit of BelNPP Connected to the Grid"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The second unit of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant (BelNPP) has been connected to the grid after completion of scheduled maintenance, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.<\/p>\n<p>Spent nuclear fuel was replaced with fresh fuel.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cIn accordance with international practice, scheduled preventive maintenance is carried out at nuclear power plants annually in order to maintain stable operational conditions of the equipment,\u201d<\/i> the ministry noted.<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled maintenance on the second unit began on 13 November 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, the unit had been shut down for scheduled maintenance in July\u2013October 2024.
