{"id":506074,"date":"2025-12-29T11:35:30","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T08:35:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=506074"},"modified":"2025-12-29T12:46:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T09:46:12","slug":"council-of-ministers-to-spend-8-43-billion-rubles-on-sport-and-physical-education-over-five-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/council-of-ministers-to-spend-8-43-billion-rubles-on-sport-and-physical-education-over-five-years","title":{"rendered":"Council of Ministers to Spend 8.43 Billion Rubles on Sport and Physical Education Over Five Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The Council of Ministers has approved the State Program \u201cPhysical Culture and Sport\u201d for 2026\u20132030.<\/p>\n<p>According to the government\u2019s press service, it includes two subprograms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cActive Lifestyle\u201d (aimed at developing physical culture)<\/li>\n<li>\u201cTraining of Sports Reserves and Elite Athletes\u201d (aimed at developing sport)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The total funding for the state program over five years is planned at 8.43 billion rubles.<\/p>\n<p>The following target indicators have been set for 2030:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the share of people engaged in physical culture and sport in the total population \u2014 35%;<\/li>\n<li>overall team ranking at major international multi-sport events (CIS Games, BRICS Sports Games) \u2014 no lower than fourth place;<\/li>\n<li>utilization of physical culture and sports facilities (by attendance and by time of use) \u2014 89.6% and 92.3% respectively;<\/li>\n<li>the number of people who have met the standards set under the GTO program \u2014 at least 64,500 people;<\/li>\n<li>the number of physical fitness and wellness groups for people with disabilities and physically weakened individuals established within physical culture and sports organizations \u2014 at least 100;<\/li>\n<li>the number of constructed physical fitness and wellness facilities, multifunctional complexes, and swimming pools \u2014 at least 31;<\/li>\n<li>the provision of agrotowns with comprehensive sports grounds \u2014 at least 30%;<\/li>\n<li>the number of medals (first to third places) at the Olympic Games, world and European championships, cups, and junior championships in Olympic disciplines \u2014 at least 300;<\/li>\n<li>the number of athletes who have met the qualification standards for the awarding of the sports titles \u201cMaster of Sport of the Republic of Belarus, International Class\u201d and \u201cMaster of Sport of the Republic of Belarus\u201d \u2014 at least 3,800.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Council of Ministers has approved the State Program \u201cPhysical Culture and Sport\u201d for 2026\u20132030.
