Belarus\u2019s gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 258 billion rubles in January\u2013November. It increased by 1.3% compared with the same period last year.<\/p>\n

GDP growth continued to slow. After nine months it stood at 1.6%, and after ten months at 1.5%. Under the official socio-economic development forecast for this year, GDP was expected to grow by 4.1%.<\/p>\n

The GDP deflator index amounted to 113%.<\/p>\n

Labor productivity by GDP after ten months reached 54,497.7 rubles, up 1.4% year on year.<\/p>\n

Agricultural output in November across all categories of farms totaled 2.28 billion rubles, up 6.6% compared with the same period last year. In agricultural organizations, output increased by 6.8% to 2.25 billion rubles.<\/p>\n

Over eleven months, agricultural production in all categories of farms declined by 0.02% to 38.07 billion rubles, while in agricultural organizations it grew by 2.6% to 31.3 billion rubles.<\/p>\n

Livestock and poultry production in agricultural organizations in November rose by 2.2% to 147.3 thousand tonnes year on year, while over eleven months it declined by 0.4% to 1.625 million tonnes.<\/p>\n

Milk output in November increased by 6.8% to 711.7 thousand tonnes. Over eleven months, milk production rose by 5.2% to 8.25 million tonnes.<\/p>\n

Industrial production in November fell by 5.7% to 17.29 billion rubles. In January\u2013November it decreased by 1.7% to 190 billion rubles.<\/p>\n

Industrial inventories as of December 1 reached 11.66 billion rubles, having increased by 345 million rubles over the month.<\/p>\n

The inventory level amounted to 83.6% of average monthly output, rising by 2.4 percentage points amid declining production volumes and growing inventories.<\/p>\n

Investment in fixed capital in November rose by 0.7% to 4.75 billion rubles. Over eleven months, investment grew by 11.8% to 48.86 billion rubles.<\/p>\n

In November, 347.2 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, up 7.1% year on year. Housing commissioned with state support declined by 21.9% to 41.7 thousand square meters. Overall, housing construction over eleven months increased by 7.8% to 3.56 million square meters, while housing with state support fell by 6.2% to 642.5 thousand square meters.<\/p>\n

According to Belstat, retail turnover in January\u2013November grew by 7.1% to 96.63 billion rubles. In November, retail turnover increased by 1.9% to 8.54 billion rubles.<\/p>\n

Wholesale trade turnover over eleven months declined by 5.6% to 163.27 billion rubles. In November, wholesale turnover fell by 4% to 14.5 billion rubles.<\/p>\n

Public catering turnover rose by 5.5% over eleven months to 6.7 billion rubles. In November, it increased by 4% to 614.7 million rubles.<\/p>\n

Freight turnover in January\u2013October decreased by 3% to 66.04 billion tonne-kilometers.<\/p>\n
