However, by position, the head of the regulator is not among those who automatically become delegates to the VNS. Therefore, today Halouchenka attended an extraordinary congress of the Federation of Trade Unions.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOne of the main items on the agenda is the election of delegates to the All-Belarusian People\u2019s Assembly. Among the candidates is the chairman of the National Bank\u2019s Board,\u201d<\/em> the National Bank\u2019s press service reported.<\/p>\n<p>According to the law, delegates to the VNS, in addition to the incumbent president and a president who has left office, include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>representatives of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches;<\/li>\n<li>representatives of local councils of deputies;<\/li>\n<li>representatives of civil society.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Last year, during the VNS, Halouchenka was prime minister and therefore a delegate by virtue of his office.
