According to the airport\u2019s press service, navigation traces characteristic of balloons were detected in areas posing a risk to aviation.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers were advised to monitor updates published by the airport and airlines.<\/p>\n<p>Current information on flight status is available on the Vilnius Airport website: www.vno.lt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Updated:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Flight Ban Has Been Extended Until 03:20 (UTC+2) on 4 December<\/p>\n<p>Because of a hybrid attack carried out by Belarus against Lithuania, civil aviation and the public \u2014 and after navigation traces characteristic of balloons were detected in areas posing a threat to aviation \u2014 the airspace over Vilnius Airport was closed on 3 December at 22:24.
