State Secretary of the Security Council <b>Alyaksandr Valfovich<\/b> and Vietnam\u2019s Minister of Public Security <b>Luong Tam Quang<\/b> signed a protocol establishing a joint working group to expand and strengthen cooperation in the field of security.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Security Council Secretariat, earlier the sides signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of security and a cooperation plan for 2024\u20132026.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cTaking into account the upgrade of relations with Vietnam to a strategic partnership this year, we agreed to implement a new form of interaction. For the first time, a protocol has been signed with the Ministry of Public Security to create a joint working group to expand and strengthen cooperation in the field of security. This is a permanent mechanism,\u201d<\/i> Valfovich explained.<\/p>\n<p>During his visit to Vietnam, the first expert consultations were also held.
