Security officials claim the drone dropped \u201cextremist\u201d materials, which, judging by the photos, were white-red-white flags.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Interior Ministry, the drone of unknown origin was discovered on one of the streets of Hrodna on 30 November. The unmanned aerial vehicle was equipped with photo and video cameras, was launched from Lithuania, and was intended to leave Belarusian airspace into Poland.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cDuring the inspection, police officers established that the drone was equipped with photo and video cameras capable of collecting reconnaissance data. In addition, the unmanned aerial vehicle carried out the drop of printed materials of an extremist nature.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Specialists analysed the data from the onboard equipment and determined the flight route. The launch point was the village of Kapciamiestis in the Lazdijai district of the Alytus county of the Republic of Lithuania. The aircraft was supposed to leave Belarusian territory via Poland,\u201d<\/i> the ministry said.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation is underway.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Ministry was the first to report the drone\u2019s crash in Hrodna.
