{"id":497688,"date":"2025-11-20T15:24:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T12:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=497688"},"modified":"2025-11-20T19:07:21","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T16:07:21","slug":"lithuanian-trucks-still-unable-to-leave-belarus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/lithuanian-trucks-still-unable-to-leave-belarus","title":{"rendered":"Lithuanian Trucks Still Unable to Leave Belarus"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Lithuanian trucks are still unable to exit Belarus into Lithuania, according to <strong>Erlandas Mik\u0117nas<\/strong>, head of the Lithuanian National Road Carriers Association Linava, who commented to Elta, as reported by Delfi.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOn the Lithuanian side everything is functioning normally, but something is happening on the Belarusian side \u2014 contradictory information is circulating,\u201d<\/em> Mik\u0117nas said.<\/p>\n<p>According to unconfirmed reports, several trucks managed to leave through the \u0160al\u010dininkai border crossing.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAs for Medininkai, payments for parking are being accepted, but the electronic queue announced yesterday has been cancelled. Everyone who paid is being placed in a new queue, though I cannot say that trucks are actually being let through,\u201d<\/em> the Linava head noted.<\/p>\n<p>Erlandas Mik\u0117nas added that problems also affect trucks entering Belarus from Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI know of a car carrier that entered Lithuanian customs and was cleared, but after reaching Belarus it was forced to wait because Belarusian officials did not know how to process it, even though car carriers are allowed to travel to Minsk,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>Lithuania recently reopened two border crossing points with Belarus ahead of schedule. They began operating on 20 November.
