The \u0160al\u010dininkai and Medininkai checkpoints had previously been closed until 30 November.<\/p>\n<p>Under the government\u2019s decision, the crossing points will resume operations on Thursday, 20 November.<\/p>\n<p>According to BNS, Interior Minister <b>Vladislav Kondratovi\u010d<\/b> stated at the government meeting that on Tuesday the National Security Commission had deemed it appropriate to reopen the checkpoints, as circumstances had changed and the restrictions on crossing the state border introduced on 29 October were no longer necessary.
