In her statement, the director addressed imprisoned journalists <b>Katsyaryna Andreyeva<\/b> and <b>Ihar Ilyash<\/b>:<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cWords cannot begin to describe the pride and joy\u2026 Katsyaryna Andreyeva, Ihar Ilyash \u2014 you are not alone. You have not been forgotten.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The film was inspired by the story of Katsyaryna and Ihar.<\/p>\n<p>The nomination for the FIPRESCI Prize (the International Federation of Film Critics) is one of the most significant for debut filmmakers. It confirms both the artistic level of the film and its public relevance.<\/p>\n<p>The film was produced with the support of the Polish Film Institute. The intimate drama features Belarusian actors <b>Alyaksandra Vaitsiahovich<\/b> and <b>Valyantsin Navapolski<\/b>, as well as a strong international team, including Polish cinematographer <b>Krzysztof Trela<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Only this past weekend, Mary Tamkovich\u2019s feature debut received another award \u2014 the \u201cGolden Elephant\u201d at a film festival in Sicily.<\/p>\n<p>Since its world premiere in New York at the Tribeca Festival, the film has received numerous festival invitations and achieved considerable success.
