The competition was launched to <i>\u201ccreate an original and recognizable symbol of the official monetary unit of the Republic of Belarus\u201d<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 2,700 submissions were sent to the competition. Five finalists were selected. The results of the vote will be announced by December 31.<\/p>\n<p>Voting is available on the National Bank\u2019s website via mobile phone.
