The company was added to the sanctions list of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration on October 31.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cGiven the direct subordination of the High Technologies Park to the Belarusian authorities, it should be recognized that the entities operating there, including \u2018ERPBel,\u2019 are under the direct control of state bodies of the Republic of Belarus,\u201d<\/em> the Ministry said in its justification.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry noted that in 2021, \u201cERPBel\u201d entered into a partnership with \u201cBelarusbank,\u201d which had \u201cstrategic importance for the development of Belarus\u2019s fintech sector.\u201d Under this cooperation, it was possible to withdraw and deposit fiat currency to and from the exchange through VISA payment cards.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022\u20132023, the position of director at \u201cERPBel\u201d was held by <b>Iryna Lysakouskaya<\/b>, who had previously worked as the chief accountant at \u201cBelarusbank.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ministry believes that, given the economic, organizational, and personnel links, \u201cERPBel\u201d may be used to circumvent sanctions, finance, and support Belarusian state bodies, including in the context of aiding Russian aggression against Belarus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Poland has imposed sanctions on the Belarusian company \u201cERPBel\u201d, a resident of the High Technologies Park (HTP) and operator of the cryptocurrency exchange BYNEX.
