A strong protest was lodged over ongoing violations of Lithuania\u2019s airspace by Belarus, which Vilnius regards as hybrid attacks. Lithuania warned that the closure of border checkpoints with Belarus could be extended.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, balloons launched from Belarus again violated Lithuania\u2019s airspace on November 8 and 10, creating a threat to civil aviation and public safety.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Ministry said that if violations of Lithuania\u2019s state border by Belarus continue, Vilnius reserves the right to extend restrictions on crossings at the Lithuanian-Belarusian border for a longer period or to introduce additional measures.<\/p>\n<p>The Lithuanian side also demanded that Belarus immediately take steps to prevent such hybrid attacks from its territory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 11, Lithuania\u2019s Foreign Ministry summoned a representative of the Belarusian embassy.
