{"id":495916,"date":"2025-11-11T14:12:06","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T11:12:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=495916"},"modified":"2025-11-11T15:01:28","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T12:01:28","slug":"lukashenka-orders-ryzhankou-to-organize-talks-with-lithuania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/lukashenka-orders-ryzhankou-to-organize-talks-with-lithuania","title":{"rendered":"Lukashenka Orders Ryzhankou to Organize Talks With Lithuania"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p><b>Alyaksandr Lukashenka<\/b> today heard reports from the head of the State Border Committee <b>Kanstantsin Molastau<\/b>, KGB chief <b>Ivan Tertel<\/b>, and Foreign Minister <b>Maksim Ryzhankou<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>According to Lukashenka\u2019s press service, <i>\u201cproposals from the Lithuanian side to resolve the situation on the Belarus\u2013Lithuania border\u201d<\/i> were received earlier today.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenka instructed Ryzhankou to <i>\u201corganize negotiations on the normalization of the situation and the resumption of full operations at the border crossing points \u2014 with the participation of authorized Lithuanian officials responsible for this area.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The interagency coordination and other support for the talks are to be handled by State Security Council Secretary <b>Alyaksandr Valfovich<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday it was reported that Belarus is moving Lithuanian truckers\u2019 vehicles to guarded paid parking lots. They will not be allowed to leave the country until the border reopens.
