{"id":494777,"date":"2025-11-03T20:35:21","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T17:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=494777"},"modified":"2025-11-03T21:33:39","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T18:33:39","slug":"lukashenka-ratifies-several-visa-waiver-agreements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/lukashenka-ratifies-several-visa-waiver-agreements","title":{"rendered":"Lukashenka Ratifies Several Visa Waiver Agreements"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>On November 3, <b>Alyaksandr Lukashenka<\/b> signed laws ratifying six international agreements with Zimbabwe, Uganda, Guinea-Bissau, Colombia, Laos, and Turkey, his press service reported.<\/p>\n<p>Intergovernmental agreements on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official, and service passports were ratified with Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Guinea-Bissau.<\/p>\n<p>With Colombia, Belarus ratified an agreement on the mutual abolition of visas for short-term stays, and with Laos \u2014 an agreement on visa-free travel for holders of ordinary passports. Citizens with valid national passports are exempt from obtaining visas for entry, transit, and short-term stays in the respective countries.<\/p>\n<p>Belarus also ratified a protocol amending the 2013 intergovernmental agreement with Turkey on mutual visa exemption. The changes allow drivers and crew members of transport vehicles \u2014 citizens of Belarus and Turkey engaged in international cargo and passenger transport \u2014 to stay visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
