The Belarusian Foreign Ministry expects delegations from more than 40 countries and seven international organizations to take part in the 3rd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, the ministry\u2019s press service said.<\/p>\n

The conference will be held in the Belarusian capital on October 28\u201329. According to the Foreign Ministry, participants will include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary P\u00e9ter Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea Choe Son Hui<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Than Swe<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Special Envoy of the Government of China for Eurasian Affairs Sun Linjiang<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Secretary-General of the CSTO Imangali Tasmagambetov<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Secretary-General of the SCO Nurlan Yermekbayev<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Secretary-General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia Kairat Sarybay<\/b>,
\n\u2022 State Secretary of the EAEU Sergey Glazyev<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Deputy foreign ministers from Iran, India, Cambodia, Oman, the UAE, and Tajikistan, as well as the director of the Center for Foreign Policy Studies and International Initiatives under the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan, are also expected to attend.<\/p>\n

According to the ministry, more than 200 analysts, military experts, and researchers from Belarus, Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, China, India, Russia, Italy, Spain, Serbia, the United States, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Uzbekistan, and other countries will participate. Among them are:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Retired Major General Rajendra Singh Yadav<\/b> (India),
\n\u2022 Deputy Secretary of Russia\u2019s Security Council Aleksey Shevtsov<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Director of the Department of International Dialogue at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy Alexandra Matas<\/b>,
\n\u2022 Political scientist Dieter Reinisch<\/b> (Austria),
\n\u2022 Professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway Glenn Diesen<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The announced theme of the conference is \u201cGlobal World (Dis)Order and the Puzzle of Eurasian Security.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cParticular attention will be paid to dialogue between East and West, strengthening confidence-building measures, and preventing confrontation. The Belarusian side consistently advocates for the development of a neutral, inclusive platform where representatives of different states and political schools can exchange views openly, without pressure or bias.
