The political prisoner has fully served his sentence.<\/p>\n<p><b>Konstantin Zolotykh<\/b> was detained in May 2022. He was charged under four articles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cInciting social enmity and discord\u201d (Part 2 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>\u201cInsulting the President of the Republic of Belarus\u201d (Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>\u201cInsulting a government official\u201d (Article 369 of the Criminal Code);<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAbuse of official powers\u201d (Part 2 of Article 426 of the Criminal Code).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In April 2023, he was sentenced to four years in prison.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The former director of the Belarusians and Market newspaper Konstantin Zolotykh has been released from prison, according to Nasha Niva.
