The reasons for his decision were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Kabanov is a former political prisoner and blogger. In Belarus, he was sentenced to three years in prison for insulting a government official and grossly violating public order.<\/p>\n<p>He was released in December 2022 and left Belarus.
