According to the Coordination Council, this dialogue could become a key element of a \u201cgrand bargain\u201d that would pave the way for change in Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>Schetyna expressed support for finding ways out of Belarus\u2019s deep internal political crisis and stressed the importance of seeking allies within the European Union to back this initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The parties also discussed coordination in the event of a mass release of Belarusian political prisoners \u2014 including logistical arrangements, rehabilitation, medical and psychological support, and legal status in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>Another topic was expanding cooperation between the Coordination Council and the Polish Senate, following the Senate\u2019s recent declaration recognizing the Coordination Council of Belarus as a parliament in exile.
