A building wall collapsed onto the road in Hrodna as a car was passing by. The incident occurred on Dziarzhynskaha Street on Sept. 9. The car was damaged.
“Autogrodno” published a video of the incident.
The Hrodnazhylstroy organization told Hrodna Plus TV channel that the wall collapsed during demolition work at an unused warehouse.
“Hrodnazhylstroy OJSC was carrying out scheduled demolition work at an unused warehouse facility. The area where pedestrian traffic was to be restricted had been agreed with the traffic police. During the work, some debris flew beyond the barrier and fell onto the roadway. As a result, a car was damaged. Traffic police officers arrived at the scene and documented the incident. The potential collapse zone had been fenced off in advance, and workers were stationed on both sides to prevent people from entering the dangerous area and redirect them to detour routes,” Hrodnazhylstroy said.
