Belarus’ Ministry of Information has added the Telegram accounts of Russian opposition figures Leonid Volkov and Ilya Yashin to its list of “extremist materials.”
A district court in Loyew ruled that the information products on their accounts were “extremist.” The ruling is dated Aug. 31.
The list also includes the Instagram account “masahiro_sibbata” and the TikTok account “Тот самый Белорус.”
It should be recalled that extremism charges are used in Belarus to target opponents of Lukashenka and dissent in general.
