In Kastsyukovichy, traffic police officers stopped a 27-year-old local resident who was driving a KIA while intoxicated. The police were alerted to the drunk driver via the 102 emergency number.
A breath test showed an alcohol concentration of 2.3‰. It was also discovered that the man had never obtained a driver’s license.
The offender was fined 200 base units (BYN 9,000) and banned from obtaining a driver’s license for five years, the Traffic Police Department of the Mahiliou Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
