Unknown Individuals Threaten Coordination Council Delegate

One of the delegates to the Coordination Council received an offer of cooperation and financial assistance from an unknown contact. After refusing, the delegate began receiving threats, the Viasna Human Rights Centre reports.

The Coordination Council delegate received a Telegram message from an unknown contact using the name “Ivan Lvovich”. The sender said he was in Kyiv and represented one of Ukraine’s state organisations. “Ivan Lvovich” wrote that he had been following the delegate for a long time and offered “mutually beneficial friendship” and “financial assistance”.

After the delegate rejected the offers, threats began arriving from different phone numbers.

The “Ivan Lvovich” account was registered in May 2026. It is not known who is behind it.

Human rights defenders have previously reported other cases of pressure on Coordination Council delegates.
