As of May 29, 37 countries have officially approved an agreement to establish a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression Against Ukraine, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry has announced.
“The Tribunal is founded on the principle established after World War II: those who launch wars of aggression bear personal responsibility for that decision. Russia’s war against Ukraine did not arise on its own. It was planned, authorized, and carried out by specific individuals.
They must be held accountable. Because lasting peace is impossible without justice, and aggression must never go unpunished,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated.
