Trilateral talks between the United States, Ukraine and Russia will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11. U.S. presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff announced the dates. According to him, the negotiations will be held at a “working level”, with the United States acting as a mediator.
“The discussions will focus on post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian efforts and further steps towards peace,” Witkoff said.
This week, U.S. negotiators plan to meet representatives of France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the European Union and NATO in Brussels to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine, the post-war security architecture in Europe, and economic opportunities to support Ukraine’s reconstruction.
“We look forward to building on the progress made in Kyiv, Oslo and St. Petersburg towards reaching a comprehensive and lasting peace agreement that will ensure long-term security for future generations,” Witkoff added.
