U.S. Officially Removes Lakokraska And Bellesbumprom From Sanctions List

The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control has officially removed OAO Lakokraska and the Bellesbumprom concern from its sanctions list.

The relevant notice from the agency is dated Sept. 17.

It should be recalled that on Wednesday, U.S. President’s special envoy John Coale announced in Minsk that sanctions on the two legal entities would be lifted. It is worth noting that one week passed between Coale’s announcement in March this year that sanctions on Belaruskali, the Belarusian Potash Company and several banks would be lifted and their removal from the sanctions lists.
