Two Minsk Residents Break Into Two Dozen Punching Machines

Minsk police reported the detention of two young city residents suspected of breaking into arcade machines.

According to police, the two men, aged 19 and 20, targeted “punching machine” strength testers. They are suspected of carrying out at least 20 break-ins.

“The suspects followed a specific scheme: one kept watch and pretended to punch the bag, while the other broke open the machine’s casing. The young men put the stolen money into a backpack and then spent it on taxis and entertainment for themselves and their friends,” the Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Internal Affairs Directorate said.

In total, the two men stole 4,000 rubles. Criminal cases have been opened.
