Tsikhanouski’s YouTube Channel Featuring Poems Declared “Extremist”

The Ministry of Information has updated its list of “extremist materials.”

The list now includes a YouTube channel featuring poems by Siаrhei Tsikhanouski.

The following have also been declared “extremist”:

• Facebook accounts “Генадзь Коршунаў,” “Глеб Блэкович,” “Мария Гриц” and “Ekaterina Evchenko”;
• Instagram accounts “Sufliadka” and “OfficeBLRinCZE”;
• TikTok accounts “SweetLanaBy” and “ЖЫВЕ БЕЛАРУСЬ!!!!”.

Accusations of extremism are used in Belarus to persecute opponents of Lukashenka and combat dissent more broadly.
