Tsikhanouskaya Calls for Increased Pressure on Russia and More Support for Ukraine

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya commented on Russian strikes against Ukrainian cities, calling for increased pressure on Russia and greater support for Ukraine.

“Russia has once again terrorized Ukrainian cities. At least 32 people have been killed, including children. Kyiv has become a frontline city. Other European cities could be next,” the Belarusian democratic forces leader wrote on X.

“We must increase pressure on Russia and provide Ukraine with more support so it can defend its airspace and prevail,” she added.

Earlier, on the morning of October 8, a Russian strike on Kramatorsk in Ukraine’s Donetsk Region hit two scheduled buses. According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, 30 people were killed in the city and another 20 were injured. Three more people were killed in Bilenke.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russian strikes on Pryluky, Kramatorsk, Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities have killed 78 people and injured 215 in recent days alone.
