US President Donald Trump said that Ukraine and Russia had reached an agreement not to strike each other’s energy facilities. Trump believes this will help lower diesel fuel prices.
“Ukraine has agreed not to hit Russian Energy targets. Russia has agreed to do, likewise! The World’s Diesel price rise is mostly caused by the Russia/Ukraine War, not Iran,” Trump wrote on the Truth Social social network.
On September 13, Trump said that Ukraine should stop striking Russian oil refineries producing diesel fuel to prevent a global shortage.
