U.S. President Donald Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attack NATO.
“I’ve had good talks with him. He’s not going to be attacking a NATO territory,” he said in response to a question about whether Putin had agreed not to attack.
The question came against the backdrop of a visit to Moscow by CIA Director John Ratcliffe. According to media reports, one of the aims was to warn Russia against a limited attack on the Baltic states.
