The accident occurred on the morning of Sept. 1 in Zhlobin District on the Minsk–Homiel highway, the Homiel Regional Executive Committee’s Interior Department reports.
According to preliminary information, the 30-year-old driver of an Iveco truck fell asleep at the wheel and collided with a PAZ bus traveling in the same direction. Following the collision, the bus and van went into a ditch, while the Iveco overturned.
A 38-year-old bus passenger was hospitalized with injuries.
